9/11 National Day of Remembrance is a way for Americans to reflect on the strength of our nation, remember the victims and survivors and honor those who rose to service in the aftermath of the attacks. During BGCA’s National Day of Service and Remembrance the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas worked together to create patriotic art projects to remember and pay tribute to the men and women who serve our country on a daily basis. Additionally, our Reecy Davis Club Director took 4 Club Kids to several fire stations in Greenville, TX to hand out cupcakes and to thank the firemen for their dedicated service. The kids were lucky enough to receive a tour of the stations and learn about the equipment the firemen use to fight fires. We want to thank all of the hard working men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice everyday to keep us safe.
